The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara, issued Circular Letter Number 6173/UN5/D5/FEB/TR.01.00/2026 concerning Smoke-Free Areas within the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara.

This policy reflects the commitment of FEB USU to creating a healthy, clean, comfortable campus environment that supports teaching and learning activities. This effort is in line with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-Being, particularly in supporting a healthier environment for the entire academic community.

According to the circular letter, conventional cigarettes and electronic cigarettes (vapes) are prohibited throughout the FEB USU environment. Any party violating these provisions will be subject to sanctions in accordance with applicable regulations.

With the implementation of this smoke-free area, all members of the academic community are encouraged to work together to maintain the health and comfort of the FEB USU environment.
