The Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) North Sumatra Region in collaboration with the Master's Program in of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara organized a webinar titled “Comprehensive Discussion on SAK EP: Practical Guidance for Accountants and Auditors.”
The webinar was held online via Zoom Meeting on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. SAK EP is a financial accounting standard designed for private entities in preparing financial statements. With the implementation of this standard, accountants and auditors are required to understand its concepts, applications, and implications in financial reporting practices.
The webinar featured Prof. Dr. Ahalik, SE, Ak, M.Si, M.Ak, CPA, CPSAK, CPMA, ASEAN CPA, CA, QRMA as the keynote speaker. The session was moderated by Dr. Asen Susanto, SE, MSi, Ak, CA, CPA, ASEAN CPA, CertIPSAS, CTP. The event was opened by Prof. Erlina, SE, MSi, Ak, CA, CMA, CPA, CSRS, CSRA, CIPSAS, Chair of IAI North Sumatra Region. This webinar aimed to provide accountants, auditors, academics, and students with a comprehensive understanding of SAK EP implementation as well as best practices in financial reporting and auditing in accordance with the latest standards.
