USU Master of Accounting Program Holds Initial LAMEMBA Accreditation Assistance Session

The Master’s Program in Accounting at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) conducted its initial LAMEMBA accreditation assistance session under the leadership of Prof. Erlina. The activity aimed to ensure the readiness of accreditation documents and improve the quality of supporting data required for the evaluation and accreditation process.

During the meeting, the accreditation team reviewed the Self-Evaluation Document (SED) and the Study Program Performance Report (SPPR), which serve as key components of the accreditation assessment. The discussion identified several areas requiring further improvement, particularly in graduate tracer study data and faculty publication records.

In addition, supporting information related to research activities, community service programs, and intellectual property achievements was highlighted as requiring further completion and updating. Comprehensive and accurate data are essential to effectively demonstrate the program’s performance and achievements in accordance with LAMEMBA accreditation standards.

Participants also agreed on the importance of a more structured distribution of responsibilities based on individual areas of expertise to accelerate data collection and validation. This approach is expected to enhance coordination efficiency and ensure the timely completion of accreditation documents.

This assistance session represents an important first step in strengthening the accreditation readiness of the Master’s Program in Accounting at USU. Through continuous efforts to improve documentation quality, data management, and institutional evaluation, the program remains committed to advancing higher education quality in line with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education.
