Students of the Bachelor’s Program in Development Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU), have once again recorded notable achievements in various competitive events. Throughout 2025, Riki Candra, a member of the 2022 cohort, successfully achieved a series of accomplishments at both national and international levels.
Riki Candra actively participated in a wide range of scientific and creative competitions conducted in team formats, covering areas such as scientific writing, essays, posters, infographics, and business planning. In these competitions, Riki collaborated with fellow FEB USU students from various study programs, including Development Economics, Management, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship, reflecting the strong culture of interdisciplinary collaboration within the FEB USU environment.
At the international level, Riki Candra, together with Dewi Zaskia and Igrid Cahyani Sinaga, secured First Place in the International Paper Competition at The Paper Competition 2025, organized by the Diplomacy Fair of the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI), and also participated in the Pioneer Ideas Movement (PIM) – International Paper Competition. Meanwhile, Riki Candra, in collaboration with Dewi Zaskia and Nurul Luthfi Aurelia, achieved Second Place at the international level in the Infographic Poster Young Researcher and Economics Students 2025 competition, further strengthening the presence of FEB USU students in international academic forums.

At the national level, Riki Candra, together with Dira Riyani and Atiqa Zhakira Syahrul, won First Place at the national level in the Essay Glory Fest Dies Natalis ke-12 2025. In addition, Riki Candra, in collaboration with Kirei Yofani Br Tarigan and Aulia Azzahra Putri, achieved First Place at the national level in the Business Plan Competition of Economic Innovation and Solution 2025.
Other national-level achievements were also attained through Riki Candra’s collaboration with Dilla Yunizar and Putri Aisah, who secured First Place in the Educuption 3.0 Poster Competition 2025, as well as several Second and Third Place awards at the national level in essay and economic innovation competitions involving similar team compositions.
These achievements reflect the commitment and consistency of Riki Candra and his teams in developing academic potential, creativity, and critical as well as collaborative thinking skills as FEB USU students. This success also underscores that FEB USU not only promotes individual excellence but also actively strengthens a culture of teamwork and cross–study program collaboration.
The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara, together with the Bachelor’s Program in Development Economics, extends its appreciation for these accomplishments and hopes that they will serve as motivation for all students to continue creating, achieving, and enhancing the reputation of the institution.
