Three students from the undergraduate management program of the Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Sumatera Utara won the 2024 Indonesia International Student Mobility Award (IISMA) Program scholarship. This scholarship supports Indonesian students' one-semester study at renowned universities and industries abroad.
The IISMA 2024 scholarship collaborates with the Government through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) and the Education Fund Management Agency (LPDP).
Here are the names of the students and their destination universities:
1. Edbert Nathaniel, The University of Queensland, Australia
2. Hilmi Muthahhari Situmorang, Singapore Management University, Singapore
3. Ridwan Firmansyah, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan
The Head of the undergraduate management study program of FEB USU, Prof. Dr. Khaira Amalia Fachrudin, SE. Ak, MBA, CA, MAPPI (Cert), expressed her gratitude for the proud achievements of the students who graduated from IISMA 2024. She emphasized that this achievement will build an international reputation.
The IISMA program provides opportunities for students to become global citizens who can develop and apply their hard and soft skills. After completing this program, the courses taken at the destination university will be recognized as equivalent to 20 credits.
