The Development Economics Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU) achieved the "Excellent" accreditation rating from LAMEMBA

The Development Economics Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU), has once again achieved a proud milestone by receiving the "Excellent" accreditation rating from LAMEMBA (Independent Accreditation Agency for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting). This decision is stipulated in LAMEMBA Decree No. 2136/DE/A.5/AR.10/III/2025, effective from March 19, 2025, to March 19, 2030.

This achievement further affirms the program's record of excellence, having previously earned the "Excellent" rating from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). This continued commitment to quality reflects the program's dedication to delivering high-quality economic education relevant to the times and globally competitive.
The Head of the Development Economics Study Program expressed that this accreditation results from the collective effort of the entire academic community—including faculty, students, administrative staff, and alumni- and the strong support of faculty and university leadership.

"We are grateful and proud of this achievement. The 'Excellent' accreditation is not only a form of external recognition but also a responsibility to continue innovating, improving academic services, and expanding our real-world contributions to society," they stated.
With this accreditation, the Development Economics Program at FEB USU is more determined to advance quality and sustainable higher education in economics, ready to face global challenges through both national and international collaboration.
