On August 9, 2022, the Accounting Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU) successfully held the ProAksi Talk Series 1 webinar. This event became even more special because an accounting expert and well-known content creator, Mr. Helmy Yahya, attended it. The main focus of this webinar was to explore the topic of "Accounting Disruption thoroughly."
In the webinar, Mr. Helmy Yahya discussed the impact of technological changes and global trends on accounting. He brought deep insights into how innovation and disruption affect the traditional accounting paradigm. The participants, especially students of the Accounting Study Program, gained a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this era of disruption.
The ProAksi Talk Series 1 webinar was a platform to listen to Mr. Helmy Yahya's presentation and provided space for questions and answers and interactive discussions. The event succeeded in creating a dynamic learning atmosphere and provided participants with valuable insights into the future transformation of accounting.
