The undergraduate in accounting study program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU) held a Proaksi National Seminar Series IV titled "Digital Transformation in Oil Refineries: Its Impact on Operational Efficiency and Accounting".

The undergraduate in accounting study program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU) held a Proaksi National Seminar Series IV titled "Digital Transformation in Oil Refineries: Its Impact on Operational Efficiency and Accounting". This seminar will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024.

The Head of the undergraduate in accounting study program, Dr. Rina Br Bukit, SE., M.Si., Ak., CA., opened this activity.

Sambas Ade Kesuma, SE., M.Si., PhD, Ak., CA, directed this seminar. As a moderator, he deftly led the discussion and encouraged interaction between the speakers and the participants.

The main speaker at this seminar was Fransetya Hasudungan Hutabarat, Finance Director of PT Kilang Pertamina International. He focused more on discussing finance, especially using digital information systems.

The second speaker was Rosyadi Febrianda, a Senior Analyst at PT Kilang Pertamina International. He focused more on discussing a company's disaster management system.

This activity went well, and the participants' enthusiasm was seen when numerous questions were asked.

It is hoped that the participants will increase their knowledge about the application of digital technology in their scientific fields, especially in accounting.
