Collaboration of Three ASEAN Countries in PROAKSI INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR SERIES I Accounting Study Program FEB USU

ProAksi Series-I International Seminar, FEB-USU Accounting Study Program, collaborated with three ASEAN academics, namely, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Zabedah Saidin from Universiti Utara Malaysia, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chumphon Angkananon from Maejo University of Chumphon, and Dr. Kewalin Angkananon from Suratthani Rajabhat University. This International Seminar was held on November 16, 2022, at Prof. Dr Suhadji Hadibroto Convention Hall FEB USU, Medan, with Mr Sambas Ade Kesuma, SE, M.Si, PhD, Ak, CA and Mrs Risanty SE, M.Si, Ak, CA as moderators.

The ProAksi Series-I International Seminar was opened by the Dean of FEB USU, Dr. Fadli, SE, M.Si, and was attended by the ranks of the FEB USU Deanate. This seminar was also attended by Professors of FEB USU and all leaders of Study Programs at FEB USU. Undergraduate and postgraduate students enthusiastically filled the Prof. Dr. Suhadji Hadibroto Convention Hall FEB USU. In his remarks, the Dean of FEB USU expressed his appreciation and gratitude for implementing this international seminar. He conveyed that this international-scale event is a supporter of the achievement of the USU IKU, and he hopes that events like this can continue to be held.

In the presentation session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Zabedah Saidin from Universiti Utara Malaysia presented the topic of Public Sector Innovation: Concepts, Trends and Best Practices. Asst. Prof. Dr. Chumphon Angkananon from Maejo University of Chumphon discussed Thailand's economic development policy with the goal of changing Thailand and creating an economic and social balance for stability, prosperity, and sustainability. Dr. Kewalin Angkananon from Suratthani Rajabhat University presented E-Commerce and Online Marketing in Thailand, which featured the best-selling products in Thailand and how to promote products using online platforms.

The ProAksi Series-I International Seminar was held with wisdom and attracted the interest of students and seminar participants through question and answer sessions, where this seminar opened participants' insights into ongoing trends in neighbouring countries, especially Malaysia and Thailand.

This seminar is expected to improve the quality of knowledge of the seminar participants and provide benefits and enlightenment to innovate.
