The undergraduate economic development study program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU), successfully held a boot camp with the theme 'Learning Content Creation in Learning Management System (LMS)' at the Cambridge Hotel, Medan. This activity aims to train lecturers to prepare and manage quality online educational content, especially based on Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC), to improve the quality of education in the digital era.

The boot camp involved intensive training on online course development through the MOOC concept. The undergraduate economic development study program lecturers were guided to understand the concept of LMS and design interactive learning content that can be widely accessed through the internet.

A total of 35 lecturers from FEB USU participated in this training. Inggrita Gusti Sari Nasution, SE, M.Si, as the Secretary of the Study Program, opened the activity and emphasised the importance of this training in facing the growing challenges of digital learning.

This training improves lecturers' ability to design and manage digital-based learning content, enabling students to access more interactive and effective teaching materials. It also supports efforts to increase access to online education without geographical restrictions.

The boot camp occurred on Saturday, 27 April 2024, from 8.30 AM to 4.30 PM at Cambridge Hotel, Medan.

The series of activities included participant registration, opening, presentation of material on the concept of MOOC, preparation of LMS content plans, and interactive question-and-answer discussion sessions. The participants also conducted presentations and preparation of LMS content scripts developed during the training.

This activity is expected to support the development of teaching materials that are relevant and adaptive to modern learning needs and encourage student involvement in the online learning process.
