Monday, March 25, 2024 – Vice Rector I, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.A. and Vice Rector V, Ir. Luhut Sihombing, M.P., visited a number of faculties, one of which is the Faculty of Economics and Business, in order to review the use of international classrooms.
This review of international classrooms designed by USU is to respond to the vision of Internationalization as attached to USU's tagline, namely Transformation Towards the Ultimate. A review was conducted on several faculties that had been visited to see the extent of the functionalization of the Internationalization room.
For having classrooms that are not met criteria, WR I USU, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.A., suggests that they be filled with regular classes that are selective in nature. Classrooms can also be converted for international guests if visiting. Many faculties have used these classrooms to support campus internationalization development activities.
"International classrooms that have been present in several faculties have been used for existing international activities," said WR I USU.
Vice Rector V for Asset and Business Management, Ir. Luhut Sihombing, M.P., said that all facilities provided had been handed over to determine in accordance with the plan that had been prepared. There are still some shortcomings so it needs to be prepared more carefully. The hope is that not only the room is devoted as an internationalization classroom, but all rooms at USU must be close to and can be used in various internationalization activities.
"We hope that classrooms at USU will not only be reviewed, but all can be empowered in internationalization activities," added Ir. Luhut Sihombing, M.P.
