USU Master of Accounting Program Strengthens Accreditation Readiness through Follow-Up LAMEMBA Assistance Session

The Master’s Program in Accounting at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) conducted a follow-up LAMEMBA accreditation assistance session led by Prof. Erlina and attended by the accreditation team and internal assessors. The activity forms part of the program’s ongoing commitment to ensuring readiness and compliance with accreditation standards.

The primary focus of the meeting was the updating of the Self-Evaluation Document (SED) and the Study Program Performance Report (SPPR), both of which serve as key components in the accreditation process. Participants reviewed various assessment indicators to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the information presented.

During the discussion, participants emphasized the importance of providing complete and accurate supporting evidence. All supporting documents are expected to be available in both hardcopy and softcopy formats to facilitate the verification and validation process conducted by assessors.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of systematic document management and archiving to ensure efficient access to information throughout the accreditation process. Effective documentation practices are expected to enhance data management and support a more comprehensive evaluation process.

Through this follow-up assistance session, the Master’s Program in Accounting at USU continues to strengthen its commitment to academic quality assurance and institutional excellence. This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education by supporting continuous quality improvement, accreditation readiness, and the enhancement of higher education standards.
