The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU), conducted the 2025 Outstanding Student Selection (PILMAPRES) to foster academic excellence, student development, and strengthening leadership and innovation competencies. The final selection took place on Monday, May 5, 2025, evaluating three main components: the Outstanding Achievement Portfolio, Creative Idea Paper & Poster, and a live presentation delivered in English, followed by an interview session. The evaluation was conducted by a panel of experienced internal jurors from FEB USU.
The award ceremony was held on Wednesday, May 8, 2025, at the Prof. Dr. Suhadji Hadibroto Hall. The winners were : 1st Place is Bintang Efraim Siboro (Undergraduate Program in Development Economics), 2nd Place is Reza Andika Siregar (Undergraduate Program in Management) and 3rd Place is Nia Novita Hutagalung (Undergraduate Program in Development Economics)
Consolation prizes were awarded to Riki Chandra (Development Economics), Irma Triana Sirait (Accounting), and Feby Maharani (Management)
PILMAPRES 2025 reflects FEB USU's commitment to cultivating an academically competitive, inspirational environment that encourages the development of innovative, applicable ideas. The faculty hopes to produce a generation of intellectual youth who are academically strong, socially conscious, linguistically capable, and globally competitive.
