The workshop featured Dr. Dharma Tuah Nasution, S.E., M.M., as the speaker, who presented strategies and techniques for writing international book chapters. The materials covered an introduction to the international academic book publishing ecosystem, searching for calls for chapters, preparing chapter proposals, and submitting manuscripts to international publishers. The activity also included writing and proposal-uploading exercises, discussion sessions, and experience sharing to provide participants with a more practical understanding.

Through this workshop, lecturers gained insights and practical skills in preparing scholarly works for publication through international publishers. In addition, the activity served as a platform for optimizing lecturers' research findings and scholarly development into academic works with broader reach and global recognition.

One tangible achievement of this activity was the successful submission of 41 international book chapter proposals to publishers. Of these, 15 proposals have been accepted by IGI Global. This achievement demonstrates that the workshop was not only focused on improving participants' knowledge and understanding but also generated concrete outcomes in supporting increased international scientific publication productivity.

This activity contributes to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education. This contribution is realized through the enhancement of lecturers' academic capacity and competencies, the strengthening of research and scientific publication culture, and the development of higher education quality oriented toward improving knowledge and global competitiveness.

As a follow-up to ensure the sustainability of the activity, writing mentoring is planned for three to six months after the workshop. This mentoring will be accompanied by strengthened international collaboration and networking, as well as regular monitoring of proposal progress, from the submission stage through the publication process. These efforts are expected to encourage more lecturers' scholarly works to be published by reputable international publishers.

Through this collaborative event, the Undergraduate Program in Management, Master's Program in Management Science, and Doctoral Program in Management Science, FEB USU, have demonstrated their shared commitment to strengthening the quality of the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi), particularly in research and scientific publications. This activity is expected to serve as a sustainable step toward building a productive academic culture, expanding international scholarly networks, and enhancing FEB USU's reputation at the global level.
