Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Ekonomi Manajemen Bisnis dan Akuntansi (LAMEMBA) held a field assessment of the S3 Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences (FEB), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU). This activity took place at the FEB Hall, on Thursday (13/07/2023).
First Vice Rector of USU, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.A., welcomed two members of assessors from LAMEMBA, namely Prof. Dr. Hamfri Djajadikerta from Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR), and Prof. Dr. Nugraha, S.E., M.Si., Akt., CA., CPA. from the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI).
WR I in his remarks highly appreciated the achievements of S3 Accounting, which has published at least 500 papers in the last 3 years.
"We have received information in the last 3 years, more than 500 international publications, which are recorded in accounting science. Hopefully this will be one of the considerations to see the growth graph," explained WR I.
Furthermore, the Dean of FEB, Dr. Fadli SE., M.Si., said that the Faculty had prepared documents related to this field assessment. In this case, S3 Accounting is also preparing for internationalization.
"This year there will be admissions for foreign students, master and doctoral programs at FEB USU," explained Dr. Fadli.
On the same occasion, Prof. Dr. Hamfri Djajadikerta, as the assessor team, conveyed the assessment of this field assessment by looking at the outcome process that has been carried out by FEB.
"We are qualitative. We see all the things related to the exit process here," said Prof. Hamfri.
