UiTM Perlis, May 15, 2023 – In the prestigious series of events "Accounting Global Week 2023," UiTM Perlis is proud to host two prominent speakers in the world of accounting from the FEB USU ProAction Accounting Study Program, namely Sambas Ade Kesuma, SE, M.Si, Ph.D, Ak, CA, and Risanty, SE, M.Si, Ak, CA.
Dr. Sambas Ade Kesuma became Guest Speaker in the International Academics Practitioner session with a very relevant topic, namely "Online Topic - Digital Economic and Accounting Technology." In his presentation, he gave in-depth insights into technological developments in the digital economy and how it affects the field of accounting. Event attendees were taken on an in-depth journey about the use of technology in optimizing accounting processes in the digital age.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Risanty, SE, M.Si, Ak, CA, was a speaker in the Collaborative Teaching Session with the topic "Statement of Profit or Loss for Manufacturing Business: Marginal Costing Approach." In this session, Mrs. Risanty shared her knowledge about marginal costing approach in preparing income statements for manufacturing businesses. Participants are invited to understand this concept in depth through case studies and interactive discussions.
This event was attended by delegates from the Faculty of Economics and Business USU, FEB UIR, UNAIR Vocational Faculty, Rattaphum College RUTS and industry players in Malaysia, who participated in scientific discussions and collaborations that enriched knowledge about accounting at the international level.
The participants not only came from academics, but also industry players in Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand who provided valuable practical perspectives.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Risanty, SE, M.Si, Ak, CA, said, "Through this collaborative session, we hope that participants can understand the concept of marginal costing better and be able to apply it in their business context."
With the success of this event, UiTM Perlis, USU, UNAIR, UIR and Rattaphum College RUTS are getting stronger as academic centers that contribute greatly to developing the global accounting world. The "Accounting Global Week 2023" event is expected to continue to be a forum for collaboration that is useful for the development of accounting science in the future.
