The Doctoral Program in Economic Sciences at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) is the highest level of academic study in economics, covering various aspects of the discipline, including Economic Theory, Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, Econometrics, Public Policy, Management, Accounting, and Economic Development. Established in 2009, this program aims to produce graduates who are capable of developing knowledge, technology, and the arts in innovative, creative, and implementative ways, and who possess the ability to conduct original research that is beneficial to society and recognized at both national and international levels.
