Medan, August 31, 2026 — The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU), issued a Circular Letter concerning Academic Community Activities within the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara, as part of efforts to maintain the safety, order, and comfort of the campus environment.
Under these provisions, students are permitted to remain within the FEB USU environment from Monday to Saturday until 18.00 WIB at the latest. This provision has an exception for students of the Master's Program (S2) and Doctoral Program (S3) who are attending lectures.
After 18.00 WIB, students are required to leave the FEB USU environment, except for students, lecturers, and education staff carrying out activities that have obtained permission from the Faculty leadership. On Sundays, student activities within the FEB USU environment are also not permitted, except for activities that have obtained permission.
These provisions are expected to increase the awareness of the entire academic community regarding the importance of discipline, safety, and order in carrying out activities within the higher education environment.

In the higher education environment, the implementation of clear regulations is part of institutional governance aimed at creating a safe, orderly, and conducive environment for academic activities.
FEB USU invites all students and the academic community to understand and comply with the applicable provisions as a form of shared responsibility in creating a safe, orderly, and comfortable campus environment.
