Carrying the theme “The Future of Palm Oil: The Role of Gen-Z and Technology in Driving Innovation,” this event aims to provide participants with valuable insights into the palm oil industry and the role of technological advancement in shaping a sustainable future. The program serves as a platform for students, academics, and the wider community to engage with industry experts and gain a deeper understanding of current opportunities and challenges within the agribusiness sector.
The event will feature distinguished speakers from Sinarmas Agribusiness and Food who will share their expertise and experiences regarding innovation, sustainability, and the future development of the palm oil industry. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore how the younger generation can contribute to the transformation of the agricultural sector through technology, creativity, and innovation.
Open to the public and free of charge, this event is expected to strengthen connections between academia and industry while encouraging students to actively participate in addressing future challenges within the agribusiness sector.
This program supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting knowledge sharing, industry exposure, and capacity building among students and future professionals. The event also contributes to SDG 2: Zero Hunger through discussions related to agribusiness development, food systems, and sustainable agricultural innovation. Furthermore, the program aligns with SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions and industry partners in fostering innovation and sustainable development.
