
Medan, 13 August 2026 — The Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus bagi Mahasiswa Baru (PKKMB) at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU), entered its second day with great enthusiasm and excitement. On this occasion, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Alumni, Prof. Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, S.Si., M.Si., Apt., was present to greet the new FEB USU students.
Prof. Poppy's presence was warmly welcomed by the new students. During the occasion, she greeted and motivated the students to maintain their enthusiasm throughout their academic journey and campus life at Universitas Sumatera Utara.
The motivational message served as encouragement for the new students to begin their academic journey with optimism, determination, and a strong commitment to personal growth. Students were also encouraged to make the most of their university years as an opportunity to gain knowledge, build experience, and develop their potential.
The activity was part of the PKKMB FEB USU 2026 series, which aims to build the readiness and enthusiasm of new students as they begin their university journey. The presence of university leadership also strengthened the connection between the institution and its students while reaffirming USU's commitment to fostering a high-quality educational environment focused on student development.
The implementation of PKKMB is aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, through efforts to provide an educational experience that supports the development of students' knowledge, character, and potential.
