Medan – Students from Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) have once again achieved an outstanding national accomplishment. The USU Juara Nih team, consisting of Riki Candra, Daniel Fransisco, and Isabela Sitorus, won First Place at the National Business Plan Competition held at Jambi University on October 2, 2026. Competing against more than 100 participants, the team also received two prestigious awards: Best Presentation and Best Paper.

The competition provided a platform for students to demonstrate their creativity, innovation, and ability to develop and present business ideas that offer practical solutions and competitive advantages. Through thorough preparation, hard work, and perseverance, the USU team successfully demonstrated the quality of its ideas and academic capabilities.

Winning three awards in a single competition reflects the importance of dedication, the courage to take on new challenges, and a commitment to continuous learning. This achievement is also expected to encourage other students to develop creative and innovative ideas with the potential to benefit society and contribute to business development.

This accomplishment supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, particularly by promoting quality learning, skills development, creativity, and student innovation. The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU), remains committed to encouraging students to develop their academic and entrepreneurial potential, enabling them to become competent, adaptable, and innovative individuals who contribute to national development.
