The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) welcomed a work visit from the USU rector, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., on Friday, January 17, 2025. This visit was part of the 2025 work program and evaluated the 2024 performance achievements. The event occurred in the FEB Hall and was attended by university leaders, faculty leaders, lecturers, and support staff.

During the visit, the Rector delivered a presentation titled "Improving the Performance of USU's Tridharma Duties in 2025." The presentation highlighted the university's strategic policy directions, particularly in transforming higher education to contribute more significantly to socio-economic development. The focus included strengthening cross-sector collaboration, fostering innovation in research and community service, and emphasizing the role of higher education in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Additionally, several vice rectors presented updates in their respective areas. Vice Rector III, Prof. Dr Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, S.Si., M.Si., Apt., shared data on FEB's research and community service achievements throughout 2024.
