Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si. inaugurated four SKY buildings of the Faculty of Business Economics (FEB), Friday (18/3/22). The four buildings inaugurated are Communal Space, Dean Room, FEB Cafetaria and ASA Lounge. The inauguration of the building was also attended by USU Vice Rectors, Dean and Vice Deans of FEB, heads and secretaries of study programs within FEB USU.

 

The Rector said, the renovation of a number of buildings in the Faculty of Business Economics aims to support all the needs of facilities and infrastructure at FEB USU. "These four renovated buildings hopefully can support all infrastructure needs at FEB USU, and further increase the enthusiasm for learning of students," he said.

 

The four buildings that have been inaugurated have different functions from one another. Communal space is one of the learning areas in the form of an open learning space for students and the academic community to interact. This building is expected to be a means of student activities to increase enthusiasm for learning. Then there is the old dean's room which was converted into an expansion of the entrepreneurship study program.

 

Furthermore, the One-Stop Application Room (ASA lounge) which is an effort by university leaders to simplify bureaucratic processes in administrative services to students. Then the last place is Cafenomics, a canteen that follows USU standards.

 

 

The Dean of FEB, Dr. Fadli, SE., M.Si., urged students to make good use of the facilities and take care of each other's facilities that have been provided, and try to be disciplined so that everyone can enjoy the assets that have been given.

 

"We try to be disciplined, take care of each other so that we can enjoy this asset together and then development is also sustainable," he explained.
