The USU Faculty of Economics and Business has held an International Conference, 3rd Economics and Business International Conference (EBIC) 2022 with the theme "Creativity and Digitalization in Economics and Business for Global Recovery" at JW Marriot Hotel Medan on Thursday, September 22, 2022. The event was attended by 5 (five) keynote speakers, namely the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Dr. H. Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, BBA, MBA and Secretary of the Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Siti Nurhalidzah online, Professor from the Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance (IBFF) International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Prof. Dr. Salina Hj Kassim, Director of the International Accounting Program from Rangsit University Thailand, Asst. Prof. Kanitsorn Terdpaop. Prof. Kanitsorn Terdpaopong, Ph.D., CMA, and Director of the Directorate of Students and Alumni Relations, Doli Muhammad Ja'far Dalimunthe, S.E., M.Si, were enlivened by online and offline par

The activity was opened by the Vice Rector III of the Universitas Sumatra Utara, Prof. Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan S.Si., M.Si., Apt. Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Fadli, S.E., M.Si as well as Chairman of the 70th Anniversary of the Universitas Sumatera Utara presented an activity report as part of the USU 70th Anniversary series. The conference was attended by 55 participants from 7 countries as scientific committee and 4 countries as participants including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and New Zealand.

Best paper was achieved by the team of Yesi Mutia Basri, Taufeni Taufik, Harjadi, Rosalina Indah Putri, and Taqiyuddin Amari with the title "Transformation Leadership, Social Entrepreneurship, Orientation, and Financial Performance on Social Entreprise Behaviour" and Best Presenter was achieved by Zuliani Dalimunthe, a presenter from the University of Indonesia. Congratulations to all presenters and participants in this activity.
