The Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU) held a lecture preparation meeting for the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. This meeting was chaired directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business USU, Dr. Fadli, S.E., M.Si., along with all vice deans of FEB USU, Dr. Amlys Syahputra Silalahi, S.E., M.Si., Inneke Qamariah, S.E., M.Si., and Paidi, S.E., M.Si. The meeting not only discussed lectures but also work programs that wanted to be carried out in the academic year.
The focus of education and teaching development in 2023 is to pursue the achievement of Internationalization of study programs. The achievement of internationalization is a joint task and it is natural for all to work hand in hand to support the internationalization of study programs. It is not the duty of one person but we are together to name the study program, faculty and carry the name of the Universitas Sumatera Utara.
USU's Faculty of Economics and Business in the 2022/2023 Academic Year will focus on physical construction in the form of postgraduate buildings and lecturer rooms. In addition, it is necessary to re-intensify research and service activities from lecturers. Lecturers must actively and re-remember that the tridharma of higher education is not only focused on educational and teaching activities. One of the targets that must be achieved is "one lecturer publication" which emphasizes lecturer publications per number of lecturers at FEB USU. Each lecturer must contribute so that the target can be achieved. In addition, the latest issue that must be resolved immediately is the renewal of sinta data that has migrated to Sinta 3. Lecturers who experience problems updating Sinta data can contact Sinta Corner located in the Vice Dean Room III of FEB USU. Many of the performance of FEB USU lecturers have not been recorded in Sinta 3 so that the ranking of USU in Sinta is still not optimal.
