Medan, August 17, 2026 – To enliven the celebration of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU)’s Dies Natalis, the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Study Program of USU’s Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) took part by presenting a bazaar booth titled “Sisa Jadi Saksi FEB.”
Held in conjunction with Indonesia’s Independence Day celebrations, the event provided an opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and innovation in entrepreneurship. Through the “Sisa Jadi Saksi” concept, the bazaar booth promoted the idea of transforming leftover materials into useful and economically valuable products, while also educating visitors about the importance of sustainability and responsible resource management.
The event was also attended by the Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara and members of the university’s leadership. Their presence reflected the university’s appreciation for the students’ active participation in supporting campus activities and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit.
The Entrepreneurship Study Program’s bazaar booth at FEB USU attracted considerable attention from visitors, who enthusiastically explored the various creative products on display. In addition to serving as a platform to promote students’ work, the event also provided a hands-on learning experience for students to develop their business, communication, and collaboration skills.
Through this participation, the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Study Program of FEB USU remains committed to producing graduates who not only excel academically but also possess an innovative, adaptive, and impactful entrepreneurial mindset that contributes to society.
