The Undergraduate Program in Management FEB USU sent one of its students, Felix Nicholas Hutabarat, to participate in a student exchange program at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) during the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, as part of the Pembelajaran di Luar Program Studi (PLPS) initiative.

During his academic period at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Felix attended various courses offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. Although coming from a management background, this experience provided him with new perspectives in understanding human behavior as a crucial aspect of organizations and business.

Beyond academic activities, Felix actively participated in a range of non-academic programs, including the ASEAN Art Festival, educational visits to Melaka and Kuala Lumpur, volunteering in the Garuda Cup XIII sporting event, as well as initiating and organizing an independent trip to Port Dickson with fellow international students.

According to Felix, the program not only enhanced his academic capabilities but also helped shape his character, independence, and cross-cultural communication skills. This initiative is expected to continue serving as a platform for USU students to develop global competencies, expand international networks, and enhance graduates’ competitiveness at the global level.
