The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU), continues to demonstrate its commitment to expanding international academic networks through the implementation of a Collaborative Teaching Program with the Faculty of Accountancy, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Perlis Branch, Malaysia. The program was conducted on November 7, 2025, as part of efforts to enrich the learning process while strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions at the global level.
This program featured collaborative teaching between lecturers from both institutions, aiming to provide students with a broader learning experience. Through this initiative, students had the opportunity to gain insights into diverse academic perspectives and practices in the field of accounting from an international context. The exchange of knowledge and experience within this program also served as an important platform to enhance the quality of learning and foster the development of students’ academic competencies.

In this activity, the Undergraduate Program in Accounting FEB USU was represented by two lecturers, Uchi Lilla Qadri, S.E., M.Si., and Tiara Reizsa Adhitya, S.E., M.Si., who actively participated in the collaborative teaching process alongside UiTM Perlis lecturers, Azura Mohd Noor and Dr. Masturah Malek. Their involvement reflects the faculty’s dedication to supporting the internationalization of education and expanding cross-border academic collaboration.
Through the implementation of this Collaborative Teaching Program, it is expected that the partnership between Universitas Sumatera Utara and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Perlis Branch, Malaysia, will continue to grow sustainably. In addition to strengthening institutional synergy, this initiative also represents a strategic step toward creating an innovative, adaptive, and globally oriented learning environment for the academic community.
