The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU), successfully organized the Fun Walk for the academic community and alumni on Saturday, 24 January 2026, at the Anwar Karim Building Parking Area, FEB USU. The event was conducted in an orderly and smooth manner according to the scheduled program and was enthusiastically attended by members of the academic community and alumni of FEB USU.
The Fun Walk was part of the series of activities commemorating the 64th Anniversary of FEB USU and served as a continuation of the Fun Walk agenda that had previously been postponed due to flooding in Sumatra in late November. The event began at 06.30 WIB and was officially launched through a symbolic flag-off by the leadership of FEB USU.
A strong sense of togetherness and family spirit was felt throughout the event. Participants from various groups—lecturers, administrative staff, students, and alumni—joined the fun walk route in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The activity was not only a sports event but also a means of strengthening bonds among the academic community and alumni of FEB USU.
As the closing of the event, the committee organized a lucky draw featuring various attractive prizes. The grand prizes, consisting of two folding bicycles, added excitement to the event and were warmly welcomed by the participants.
Through this Fun Walk activity, FEB USU hopes to continue fostering a spirit of togetherness, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and strengthening the sense of belonging to the alma mater, in line with the spirit of “Transformation Towards the Ultimate.” This event became one of the meaningful moments in the series of celebrations of the 64th Anniversary of FEB USU, rich in significance and togetherness.
