The Faculty of Economics and Business of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU) successfully elected non-Professor Academic Senate members for the period 2024-2029. This election was held in the Prof. Dr. Suhadji Hadibroto Hall of FEB USU and attended by 62 permanent lecturers who had registered as permanent voters according to the Permanent Voter List (DPT).
This election was carried out based on the Decree of the Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara Number: 2764/UN5.1.R/SK/KPM/2024 concerning Guidelines for the Election of Candidates for Academic Senate Members of Non-Professor Lecturer Representatives. After document verification by the Election Committee, there were four eligible candidates, namely Dr Wahyu Ario Pratomo, S.E., M.Ec, Dr Abdillah Arif Nasution, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA., QGIA, Dr Drs. Syahyunan, M.Si, and Dr Doli Muhammad Jafar Dalimunthe, S.E., M.Si.
The voting took place from 08.00 WIB to 11.00 WIB. After the counting process, which began at 11:01 WIB, the final results showed:
Dr. Wahyu Ario Pratomo, S.E., M.Ec.: 18 votes
Dr. Abdillah Arif Nasution, S.E., M.Si., Ak, CA, QGIA: 18 votes
Dr. Drs. Syahyunan, M.Si: 3 votes
Dr. Doli Muhammad Jafar Dalimunthe, S.E., M.Si.: 23 votes
Thus, the three candidates with the most votes, namely Dr Doli Muhammad Jafar Dalimunthe, Dr Wahyu Ario Pratomo, and Dr Abdillah Arif Nasution, were elected as members of the Academic Senate of Non-Professor Lecturer Representatives of the USU Faculty of Economics and Business for the period 2024-2029.
This election event went smoothly, reflecting FEB USU's commitment to maintaining transparency and lecturers' active involvement in the academic process.
