An undergraduate student from the Accounting Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Universitas Sumatera Utara achieved international recognition by winning the Best International Presenter award during the Youth Program Collaboration & International Business Datathon held at Universiti Utara Malaysia on 4 November 2025.
The international event brought together students from various universities and countries who participated in academic collaboration and an international-scale business data analysis competition organized by TISSA UUM. The program aimed to develop students’ abilities in analyzing data, formulating innovative solutions to global business challenges, and strengthening cross-border academic cooperation.
During the event, the delegation from Universitas Sumatera Utara delivered a comprehensive and innovative presentation based on business data analysis. Through a systematic and well-structured delivery, supported by strong arguments and a deep understanding of the business issues addressed, the USU student successfully captured the attention of both the panel of judges and fellow participants.
As a result of this outstanding performance, student from the Undergraduate Program in Accounting of the Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Sumatera Utara was awarded the “Best International Presenter”, an honor given to the participant demonstrating the most exceptional presentation skills during the international forum.
This achievement reflects the strong commitment of Universitas Sumatera Utara in encouraging its students to actively participate in international academic activities. Furthermore, it is expected to inspire other students to continue enhancing their academic competence, analytical abilities, and communication skills in facing global challenges.
The participation and success of USU students in this event also further strengthen the position of Universitas Sumatera Utara as a higher education institution capable of producing competitive and globally capable human resources.
