During the summit, participants engaged in a series of academic and professional development activities, including Collaborative Teaching, Presentation of Nusantara Accounting Genius (Case Study Edition), Community Service and Industrial Visits, as well as various academic discussion sessions involving lecturers and students from different countries.
Through collaborative teaching activities, lecturers from various universities exchanged experiences in teaching methodologies and shared best practices in accounting education at the international level. In addition to academic activities, participants also took part in community service programs and industrial visits, offering valuable insights into business practices and the role of higher education institutions in community empowerment. These activities broadened participants’ perspectives on how academia can address global social and economic challenges.
The International Accounting Summit 2024 concluded with a Grand Dinner and Cultural Performance held at Putra Regency Hotel, serving as both an appreciation event and an opportunity to strengthen relationships among participants from various countries.
The participation of FEB USU lecturers in this event also supports the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of higher education institutions, particularly KPI 3 related to lecturers’ engagement in off-campus activities and KPI 6 concerning international collaboration. Through active involvement in global academic forums, Universitas Sumatera Utara is expected to continue enhancing its international academic contributions and strengthening its reputation as a globally competitive university.
