The seminar featured two speakers from academic and professional backgrounds, namely Fadhullah, S.E., M.M., Head of the Haji Hasballah Yunus Foundation of Al-Amjad Islamic School, and Yosrizal Syamsuri, S.Kom., Mtm & M. Log Man, from PT Angkasa Pura Aviasi, Kualanamu International Airport. The activity was moderated by Devana Anisha Indra Putri, S.E., M.Si., a lecturer at FEB USU.

Carrying the theme Global Business Innovation, the seminar served as a discussion forum to address the importance of innovation in facing the dynamics and challenges of the continuously developing business world. Technological changes, digital transformation, evolving consumer needs, and increasingly competitive business competition require organizations to adapt and develop innovative strategies to create value and maintain competitiveness.

For students of the Master's Program in Management Science and Doctoral Program in Management Science of FEB USU, this activity provided an opportunity to gain broader perspectives on the application of management concepts in responding to changes in the business environment. The presence of speakers from professional backgrounds also provided an overview of the real experiences and challenges faced by the business world in managing innovation and responding to global business developments.

In addition to serving as a means of developing academic insights, the Global Business Innovation Seminar also served as a platform for strengthening interaction and networking between higher education institutions and the professional world. The exchange of knowledge and experience between academics and practitioners is expected to increase the relevance of management learning to industry needs and open opportunities for future collaboration.

The implementation of this activity is also in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education through enriching students' knowledge and insights into innovation and global business developments; SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth through improving human resource competencies that support productivity and economic growth; SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure through strengthening understanding of innovation, technology, and transformation in the business world; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through the involvement and interaction between the academic community and practitioners as part of strengthening partnerships to support education and innovation development.

Through the implementation of the Global Business Innovation Seminar, the Master's Program in Management Science and Doctoral Program in Management Science of FEB USU continue to be committed to providing academic activities that are relevant to developments in the business world while supporting the improvement of student competencies. This activity is expected to provide insights and inspiration for students to become future management leaders and professionals who are adaptive, innovative, competitive, and capable of facing global business challenges sustainably.
