On Friday, July 21, 2023, the Accounting Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) visited the Accounting Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD). This visit was carried out to benchmark scientific journal management.
The FEB UAD Accounting Study Program is qualified to manage scientific journals, especially the REKSA Journal: Financial Engineering, Sharia, and Audit. REKSA Journal has successfully achieved SINTA 3 accreditation, encouraging the attention of various academic institutions in Indonesia. To share experiences and broaden horizons, the USU Accounting Study Program visited UAD.
Both parties shared knowledge and views on the latest trends in scientific journals and the challenges faced in managing quality journals. This exchange of ideas and experiences is expected to benefit both Accounting Programs and encourage further cooperation in the future.
This benchmarking visit ended with a positive spirit and a joint commitment to continue to improve the quality of scientific journals in Indonesia. The synergy between the FEB UAD Accounting Study Program and the USU Accounting Study Program can be an inspiring example for other universities to improve the standard of scientific publications in the country.
