The 5th ProAksi Talk Series webinar of the FEB USU Accounting Study Program invited Mrs. Wuri Handayani, SE., A.k., M.Si., M.A., Ph.D, Lecturer in Accounting Study Program FEB UGM as a guest speaker. The theme raised in this webinar is "Accounting Research Trends 2022" on Thursday, October 13, 2022.
In the 5th ProAksi Talk Series, which was attended by more than 250 participants, Mrs. Wuri Handayani explained business research and its concepts, how to start a business research project, how to generate research ideas, and current issues related to accounting research (auditing, accounting information systems, sharia accounting, international accounting, and other fields).
Furthermore, Dr. Wuri Handayani emphasized that the 2022 accounting research trend refers to business research, a systematic and objective process for collecting, recording and analyzing data that provides information to make business decisions—in conclusion delivered by Mrs. Fauziah Kumalasari, S.E., M.Ak. as the moderator of this webinar, noted that there is a series of beginnings of research, then developing research ideas/topics where trending issues can be raised from the fields of auditing, accounting information systems, Islamic accounting, forensic accounting, and international accounting.

In his remarks at the 5th ProAksi Talk Series Webinar, Vice Dean I, Dr. Amlys Syahputra Silalahi SE., M.Si, expressed his hope that this webinar will increase the quality of research from students and lecturers and benefit and enlighten other researchers in accounting research.
