On November 17, 2023, Prof. S. Hadibroto Hall at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU) witnessed a valuable activity, namely ProAksi National Seminar Series 3. With the theme "Opening the Door to the Future: Technology, Accounting, and Business", this event managed to attract hundreds of participants from various walks of life, including students, academics, and business practitioners in Medan and its surroundings.
The main speaker in this seminar was Mr. Johan N.B. Nababan, Director of Business Planning and Development of PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional. With his extensive experience in business planning, he provides deep insight into how technology affects current and future business dynamics.
Not only that, Ady Putra Sinambela, an Evaluation and Monitoring Assistant from PTPN III, also shared his experience and knowledge in facing challenges in accounting in this digital era. His discussion on the use of ERP technology in strengthening accounting practices in modern companies provided a very valuable perspective for the participants.
Ferdinan Sihombing, a Trainer from the North Sumatra Representative Office of the Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI), also provided valuable insights regarding the role of technology in supporting business transactions in the capital market. With his in-depth knowledge of the world of capital markets, he managed to illustrate how technology has changed the way we invest and transact in the stock market.

As moderator, he deftly directs conversations, encourages interaction, and facilitates a dynamic exchange of ideas between participants and speakers.
