The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) once again demonstrates its commitment to strengthening academic capacity through the organization of an international-level program.
The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) continues to demonstrate its commitment to advancing academic capacity through the organization of international-level programs. This time, the Accounting Program presents the PROAKSI International Workshop Series III, themed “Systematic Literature Review Writing Workshop,” highlighting the strategic topic “Emerging Trends in Accounting, Technology, and Environmental Social Governance.”
The workshop will be held on October 6–7, 2025, at the Prof. Dr. Suhadji Hadibroto Hall, starting at 09:00 WIB. It is designed as an intensive learning platform for students, lecturers, and researchers aiming to enhance their ability to produce high-quality, internationally standardized systematic literature reviews (SLR).

Featuring an expert speaker in the field, Dr. Mujeeb Saif Mohsen Al-Absy from Gulf University, Bahrain, the workshop is expected to provide in-depth insights into systematic, structured, and globally relevant literature-based research methodologies. His presence as the keynote speaker adds significant value, considering his academic track record and contributions to research in accounting and governance.
The workshop not only focuses on the technical aspects of writing but also explores current trends in accounting, particularly those integrated with technological advancements and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues. This is increasingly important in today’s academic and industrial landscape, where strong and relevant evidence-based research is highly demanded.
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the stages involved in developing a systematic literature review, including identifying research topics, designing literature search strategies, selecting and evaluating sources, as well as synthesizing and reporting research findings. With a practical approach, participants are expected to directly apply the knowledge gained to their academic work, whether for journal publications or thesis writing.
Furthermore, this workshop serves as a platform to expand academic networks at both national and international levels. Direct interaction with the speaker and fellow participants opens opportunities for future research collaborations, ultimately contributing to the improvement of both the quality and quantity of institutional scientific publications.
Through this initiative, the Faculty of Economics and Business aims to continuously foster an academic culture that is excellent, innovative, and adaptive to global developments. This workshop represents a concrete step in preparing the academic community to compete internationally through impactful and high-quality research.
With its relevant theme and distinguished speaker, the PROAKSI International Workshop Series III is expected to become a significant milestone in enhancing research capacity, particularly in accounting and interdisciplinary studies that are rapidly evolving in the modern era.
