The Undergraduate in Accounting Study Program (ProAksi) of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held a movie screening event for the film “Heartbreak Motel”

The Undergraduate Accounting Study Program (ProAksi) of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held a movie screening event for the film “Heartbreak Motel” on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 2.00 PM at Cinepolis Plaza Medan Fair. This event is part of the Proaksi Nobar Series, which aims to strengthen togetherness between academicians and provide educational entertainment.

Heartbreak Motel, directed by Angga Dwimas Sasongko and screenwriter Alaris Satassa and based on the famous Indonesian novelist Ika Natassa, is a drama film about the complexity of love relationships and the challenges of life.

Present at this program were Ika Natassa, the author of the novel Heartbreak Motel, ProAksi lecturers, education staff, student representatives from the Accounting Student Association (HMA), and students and alumni. The audience was enthusiastic about this activity, which shows the intimacy and cohesiveness of the ProAksi FEB USU academic community.

Not only watching together, the Proaksi Nobar Series also became a place for discussion and reflection for the participants regarding the themes raised in the movie. The movie is expected to provide new insights and entertain the audience.
