ProAksi of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Sumatera Utara again held an Alumni Talk Series
Medan, May 28, 2024 – ProAksi of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Sumatera Utara again held an Alumni Talk Series with an inspiring theme, "Preparation for Entering the World of Work", in the Prof. Hadibroto Hall. The event presented valuable insights from alumni who have had successful careers in various fields, offering practical guidance for students and alumni who are about to embark on their professional journeys.
Dio Agung Herubawa, SE., M.Acc., a lecturer of the Accounting Study Program FEB USU guided this session as a moderator, ensuring that the discussion ran smoothly and was full of meaning. This event presented five speakers who have made brilliant achievements in their careers:
Donny Amril, SE., Head of Accounting and Finance Division of PTPN-IV Region I, shared his experience about managing company finances and tips for success in corporate accounting.
Ady Putra Sinambela, S.T, M.Si, Subject Matter Expert at PTPN-IV Region I, provides in-depth insight into the mastery of technical expertise and the importance of specialization in the modern world of work.
Adi Darwati, S.E, Ak., Associate Auditor from the Langsa City Inspectorate, discussed the importance of integrity and thoroughness in auditing and how to face challenges in financial supervision.
Budi Chandra, S.E., Finance Manager at Emerald Garden International Hotel, explained financial management strategies in the hospitality sector and the important role of financial analysis in decision-making.
Fika Laily V., S.E, M.Si, First Immigration Analyst at the Special Class 1 Immigration Office of TPI Medan, conveyed her experience in immigration bureaucracy and how to adapt in the government work environment.

This event started at 09.00 WIB and lasted until the end, attended by hundreds of enthusiastic participants. Interactive discussions and dynamic Q&A sessions provided an opportunity for participants to delve deeper into the experiences of the speakers and gain practical tips in navigating the competitive world of work.
