Medan, March 1st, 2023 – Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU) held the signing of the MoA with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in the Hall of Prof. Dr. Suhadji Hadiboroto, FEB USU. The event was attended by the Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si. and the Rector of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), YBhg. Prof. Dr. Haji Abdol Samad Bin Naw. The event began with singing the national anthems of Indonesia and Malaysia, then continued with remarks from Mr. Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si. and Mr. YBhg. Prof. Dr. Haji Abdol Samad Bin Naw. After delivering the opening remarks, the event continued with the signing of the MoA and the presentation of plaques from the Mara University of Technology.
The signing of this MoA is a strategic step in expanding collaboration between USU and UiTM which is expected to make a positive contribution to academic and research development in both countries. Collaboration in research is the main focus of this MoA. Lecturers from both universities will work together in exploring important issues in the fields of science, technology, and innovation. This effort is expected to produce innovative solutions that are relevant to the development of society and industry.
