The inauguration marked an important moment in continuing the role of the Alumni Association as a platform for strengthening communication, collaboration, and alumni contributions to the development of the Undergraduate Program in Management. The 2026–2031 management board is expected to build an increasingly active alumni network and create opportunities for collaboration in the fields of academics, career development, business, professional networking, community service, social activities, communication, and information.
Based on the Decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara, concerning the Appointment of the Management Undergraduate Program Alumni Association Management Board of FEB USU for the 2026–2031 Period, the new management consists of the Advisory/Guidance Board, Expert/Consideration Board, and Management Board. The Chairperson of the Alumni Association for this period is T. M. Adriansyah, SE., MM, accompanied by Mery Sulianty H. S., SE., M.Si. as Vice Chairperson, Muhammad Arif Lubis, SE., M.Si. as Secretary, and Dr. Yusdiana, SE., M.Si. as Treasurer.
In addition to the leadership structure, the management also includes several divisions supporting the implementation of the Alumni Association's work programs, namely the Alumni Relations and Data Collection Division; Academic, Career Development, Business, and Professional Networking Division; Community Service and Social Affairs Division; and Public Relations, Communication, and Information Division. The establishment of these divisions is part of an effort to expand alumni contributions and strengthen relationships among alumni, students, lecturers, and the Undergraduate Program in Management.
The inauguration of the Management Undergraduate Program Alumni Association Management Board for the 2026–2031 Period is expected to serve as an initial step toward establishing sustainable collaboration between alumni and the alma mater. Through the new management board, alumni are expected to make tangible contributions to supporting academic development, improving student competencies, developing professional networks, as well as social and community service activities.
This activity also supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through strengthening alumni networks and contributions to educational development, as well as SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through strengthening collaboration among the Study Program, alumni, students, and various stakeholders.
With the inauguration of the Management Undergraduate Program Alumni Association Management Board of FEB USU for the 2026–2031 Period, stronger synergy is expected to be established between alumni and the alma mater in supporting the advancement of the Undergraduate Program in Management of FEB USU and making sustainable contributions to education, the professional world, and society.
