The University of Sumatera Utara (USU) officially inaugurated the Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs for the 2026–2031 term. This inauguration marks a strategic milestone in strengthening academic governance, enhancing the quality of education, and advancing the vision of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB USU) as a leading and globally competitive faculty at both the national and international levels.

The appointment of the new study program leaders represents an important step in leadership regeneration, aimed at fostering innovation in education, research, and community engagement. Under this new leadership, each study program is expected to further improve the quality of academic services, strengthen collaboration with various stakeholders, and produce competent, adaptive graduates who are well-equipped to meet global challenges.

The following individuals were inaugurated as Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs for the 2026–2031 term:

This inauguration serves as an important milestone in strengthening synergy among study programs to establish professional, transparent, and quality-oriented academic governance. The newly appointed study program leaders are expected to accelerate the achievement of the faculty's key performance indicators through the development of industry-relevant curricula, enhancement of research quality, increased publications in reputable scientific journals, and the expansion of national and international partnerships.

Furthermore, the new leadership is expected to cultivate an innovative and inclusive academic environment that nurtures graduates who not only excel academically but also demonstrate integrity, leadership, and the ability to adapt to the rapidly evolving workplace and technological advancements.

The inauguration of the Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs also reflects the commitment of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Sumatera Utara, to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 – Quality Education, through strengthened academic governance, enhanced teaching and learning quality, and the development of highly competent and globally competitive human resources.

With this new leadership, the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Sumatera Utara, remains optimistic about further strengthening its role as a leading, innovative, and globally competitive higher education institution. The spirit of collaboration, professionalism, and dedication embodied by the newly appointed Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs is expected to serve as a solid foundation for advancing higher education transformation that delivers meaningful contributions to society, the nation, and sustainable development.
