On 1 July 2026, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), officially inaugurated the Head and Secretary of the Undergraduate Accounting Study Program for the 2026–2031 term.

Dr. Rina Br. Bukit, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA., was appointed as the Head of the Undergraduate Accounting Study Program, while Risanty, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA., was inaugurated as the Secretary of the Undergraduate Accounting Study Program.

This inauguration reflects FEB USU's commitment to strengthening academic leadership and enhancing the quality of higher education. Under the new leadership, the Undergraduate Accounting Study Program is expected to further improve the quality of education, research, and community engagement in the field of accounting, while enhancing the learning experience and fostering the academic competencies of its students.

The inauguration also aligns with the Faculty of Economics and Business USU's commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education. Through responsible and visionary leadership, the Accounting Study Program is expected to promote continuous academic excellence, strengthen institutional performance, and contribute to the development of highly competent graduates who are well prepared to meet the demands of the accounting profession and the global workforce.
