The inauguration marked an important moment for the Master’s Program in Management in strengthening relationships and synergy between alumni and their alma mater. The Alumni Association is expected to serve as a platform for strengthening communication, building networks, and encouraging alumni contributions to the development of the Study Program.
Based on the Decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Number 693/UN5/D/FEB/SK/WA.01.02/2026 concerning the Appointment of the Management Board of the Alumni Association of the Master’s Program in Management, FEB USU, for the 2026–2031 Period, the new management board consists of:

Vice Chairperson: Ryalsyah Putra, SE, M.Si
Secretary: Dr. Emi Wahyuni, M.Si
Treasurer: Dr. Adelina Lubis, SE, M.Si
In addition to the core management board, the IKA management is supported by several divisions covering Organization, Alumni Data and Communication; Academic Affairs, Competencies and Professional Development; Industry, Careers, and Professional Networks; Entrepreneurship, Business, and Investment; as well as Research, Social Impact, and Sustainability.
The establishment of this management board is expected to strengthen the role of alumni in contributing to academic and professional development, creating collaborative networks, and serving as a bridge between alumni, students, lecturers, and the Master’s Program in Management.
Through the 2026–2031 management period, the Alumni Association of the Master’s Program in Management is expected to initiate various activities and initiatives that benefit both alumni and the academic community. The synergy established is also expected to support the advancement of the Study Program and strengthen the relationship between alumni and their alma mater in a sustainable manner.
This activity can be associated with SDG 4 – Quality Education through strengthening alumni networks and developing academic and professional competencies. In addition, the activity is relevant to SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals through strengthening collaboration between alumni and the Study Program.
