The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) successfully held its Graduation Ceremony for Undergraduate, Master's, and Doctoral Programs for the academic Year 2024/2025 of the 2nd Period. The event, held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in Prof. Dr. Suhadji Hadibroto Hall at FEB USU, was attended by all graduates and FEB USU's leadership team.
The ceremony began with a formal procession, accompanied by a processional anthem, followed by the singing of the national anthem, "Indonesia Raya." In his speech, the Dean of FEB USU, Dr. Fadli, S.E., M.Si., expressed appreciation for the graduates' academic achievements and hoped they would continue contributing to knowledge development and society building.
The event also featured the reading of the Graduation Decree by the Dean, officially confirming the graduates for this period. A highlight of the ceremony was the announcement of graduates with the highest honors (cum laude) from each program, with symbolic sashes presented to representatives with the highest GPAs.
In the impressions and messages segment, Iskandar Muda Situmorang, a graduate of the Master's in Accounting Program, shared his valuable experiences during his studies at FEB USU. Additionally, motivational remarks by Mr. Edi Faisal Harahap, S.E., M.M., a representative of FEB USU Alumni Association (IKAFEB USU), inspired graduates to face challenges in the professional world.
The event concluded with entertainment and group photos, celebrating togetherness among graduates, faculty members, and university leaders. FEB USU congratulates all graduates on their achievements and hopes they will continue to bring pride to their alma mater. May this accomplishment mark the beginning of a successful career and meaningful contributions to society.
