Medan, August 20, 2026 — The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU), held the first session of the Period IV Graduation Evaluation for the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Wednesday, August 20, 2026. The event, held at the Prof. Dr. Suhadji Hadibroto Hall, FEB USU, at 1:30 p.m. WIB, was attended by 214 students.

The graduation evaluation marked an important milestone for the students, signifying the completion of their academic journey while also serving as an initial step toward the next stage of their lives. During the event, the participants received messages and motivation from FEB USU alumnus Sjahrian Kurnia Ramadhan Harahap, S.E., MBA., QIA., CRGP, who currently serves as President Commissioner of PT Bainra Bumi Sejahtera.

In his message, Sjahrian Kurnia Ramadhan Harahap encouraged the prospective graduates to carry forward the values they gained during their studies at FEB USU as they enter the professional world. The graduates were also encouraged to continuously develop their competencies, uphold integrity, and adapt to various changes and challenges in the workplace.

The presence of an alumnus as a guest speaker provided students with practical perspectives on life after completing higher education. The experiences and motivation shared are expected to serve as valuable guidance for graduates as they determine their next steps and build their future careers.

Through the graduation evaluation, FEB USU continues to demonstrate its commitment to producing graduates who possess not only academic competencies but also strong character, integrity, and readiness to make positive contributions to society.

The event aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, through the provision of education that supports competency development and graduate readiness. In addition, the involvement of alumni in providing motivation and sharing professional experiences reflects SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through strengthened relationships and collaboration between educational institutions and their alumni.
