The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU), held the Judicium Ceremony for Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral Program Graduates of Period II, Academic Year 2025/2026, on Wednesday (4 February) at the Prof. Dr. Suhadji Hadibroto Hall, FEB USU.
The judicium ceremony was attended by all FEB USU graduation candidates for Period II of the 2025/2026 Academic Year and serves as one of the mandatory academic stages that must be completed prior to participating in the official university graduation ceremony.
The event began with the formal procession of the judicium council entering the hall, followed by the singing of the national anthem Indonesia Raya. The ceremony was then officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Dr. Fadli, SE., M.Si., in conjunction with the judicium for graduates of the Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral programs.
This was followed by the reading of the Judicium Decree for FEB USU graduates of Period II, Academic Year 2025/2026. On this occasion, the top cum laude graduate from each study program was announced, followed by the recognition of all cum laude graduates from their respective programs.
As a form of academic appreciation, a symbolic conferment of judicium sashes was conducted by the Dean of FEB USU, represented by the student with the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA).
The ceremony also featured a speech sharing messages and reflections from the graduates, delivered by Nadia Pramita Hz. from the Undergraduate Program in Accounting, as well as a motivational address by Dr. H. Rudi Dogar Harahap, SE., MBA., M.Hum. The event was enlivened with entertainment and concluded with a group photo session.
The FEB USU Judicium Ceremony for Period II, Academic Year 2025/2026, was officially closed by the Dean of FEB USU and ended with the formal procession exiting the judicium hall.
Through this judicium ceremony, FEB USU hopes that its graduates will be able to apply the knowledge, skills, and academic values acquired during their studies and make meaningful contributions to society, the nation, and the country.
