he Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU), successfully held the Graduation Ceremony (Yudisium) for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral program graduates of the third period in the 2024/2025 academic year. The event occurred on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the Prof. Dr. Suhadji Hadibroto Hall.
The ceremony was attended by the faculty leadership board, including the Faculty Advisory Council (DPF), Vice Deans, Heads of Undergraduate, Master's, and Doctoral Programs, and representatives from the FEB USU Alumni Association (IKAFEB USU). Yudisium marks a significant milestone as it formally confirms student graduation across academic levels.
The program commenced with participant registration, followed by the processional entry, the national anthem, "Indonesia Raya," and welcoming remarks from the Dean of FEB USU, Dr. Fadli, S.E., M.Si. In his address, the Dean expressed his appreciation to the graduates and encouraged them to serve as ambassadors of FEB USU who uphold the faculty's good name in society and the professional world.
The ceremony continued with the reading of the official graduation decree, the announcement of top cum laude graduates from each program, and the symbolic conferral of graduation sashes to students with the highest GPA. One of the event's most heartfelt moments was a speech delivered by Kevin Jeheskiel, a graduate representative from the Undergraduate Program in Management, expressing gratitude to lecturers, families, and fellow students.
Motivational remarks were also delivered by Mr. H. Fadhullah, S.E., M.M., a member of IKAFEB USU and the University Board of Trustees (MWA), who urged graduates to maintain ethical conduct and continue growing and contributing in their careers and communities.
The event concluded with entertainment, group photos, and a recessional by the graduates. A sense of pride and emotion filled the atmosphere, symbolizing both the end of their academic journey and the beginning of a professional path.
FEB USU congratulates all graduates and wishes them success in their future endeavors. May the knowledge gained serve as a valuable foundation for their next chapter.
