The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU), once again held the Graduation Ceremony (Yudisium) for graduates of the Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral programs for Period I of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The event was held on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, at the Prof. Dr. Suhadji Hadibroto Hall, FEB USU, commencing at 1:30 p.m. WIB.

The yudisium was officially opened by the Dean of FEB USU, Dr. Fadli, SE., M.Si., who, in his opening remarks, expressed his appreciation to all graduates for their academic achievements and perseverance throughout their studies. He emphasized the importance of integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to lifelong learning as essential foundations for graduates in navigating professional challenges and contributing to society.

The ceremony began with a formal procession, followed by the singing of the Indonesian national anthem Indonesia Raya, a prayer, and the reading of the official Decree on the Graduation Ceremony for Period I of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. During this session, graduates who achieved Cum Laude distinction were announced, including those with the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) from each study program, as a form of recognition for outstanding academic performance.

A symbolic sash ceremony was then conducted by the Dean, represented by graduates with the highest GPA. This moment marked a significant milestone, symbolizing the formal transition of participants from students to prospective graduates who will be officially conferred at the university’s commencement ceremony.

The event continued with the delivery of impressions and messages from the graduates’ representative, Brigitte Natiar Sitanggang from the Undergraduate Program in Management. The inspirational atmosphere was further enriched by a motivational address delivered by Dr.c. Tri Dharma Sipayung, SE., M.Si., who provided guidance and encouragement regarding future career paths and contributions to society.

Prior to the closing session, participants enjoyed entertainment and took part in a group photo session, symbolizing unity and shared achievement among graduates, faculty leaders, and the academic community of FEB USU. The ceremony concluded with an orderly and solemn exit procession.

Through the implementation of the Graduation Ceremony for Period I of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, FEB USU expresses its hope that graduates will uphold the good name of their alma mater and make meaningful contributions to economic development, the business sector, and society at large.
