The Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU) again held a Graduation Ceremony for Graduates of the Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral Education Programs for second period of the year 2024. The event, which took place in the Prof. Dr. Suhadji Hadibroto Hall of FEB USU, began at 01.30 PM and was attended by 250 graduates who will graduate in this period.
The graduation ceremony was attended by various important faculty officials, including the Dean of FEB USU, Deputy Dean I, Deputy Dean II, Deputy Dean III, Faculty Advisory Council (DPF), Head Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral Study Programs, and Chair of the FEB USU Alumni Association (IKAFEB USU). These officials' presence shows their full support for the graduates who have completed their studies with dedication.
An important moment in this event was the announcement of graduates with the highest scores who achieved the title Cumlaude. For the Undergraduate Program, Joe Van Lodi Purba from the Economic Development Study Program achieved this award. For the Master Program, Mastura from the Management Science Study Program received the Cumlaude title. Meanwhile, Arif Rahman from the Economics Study Program also won the highest predicate for the Doctoral Program with a Cumlaude score.
In his speech, the Dean of FEB USU expressed his appreciation and congratulations to all graduates. He emphasized the importance of continuing to learn and innovate despite achieving the highest academic degree. "The degree you achieve today is not the end of the journey but the beginning of your contribution to building society and the nation," he said.
The graduation ceremony is a valuable momentum for graduates who have worked hard during their studies. In addition, this event is also a memorable gathering and farewell before the graduates step into the next stage of their careers.
With a new spirit and the knowledge they have obtained, the graduates of FEB USU for second period of the year 2024 are ready to face future challenges and make the best contribution to society.
